Our Beginners Course
Our beginners course is offered to both puppies and older dogs. We offer a basic understanding of obedience and socialising. This course includes the learning of: Heel work, Sit, Down, Stand/up, Stay, Wait and recall.
Heel Work
In the beginners course you will learn the basics of heel work. Which side your dog is supposed to walk on. Which foot to step off on and how to get your dog to walk comfortably next to you.
Some puppies when first walking on a leash can be very frightened and might cry or become minipulative. It just takes time and patients but every dog can do it.
Sit
You will learn how to get your dog to sit on command, also how to make them sit straight and not stand up till you tell them to.
Sit and Down Stays
You will learn how to get your dog to sit or lie down and stay. We will teach you which foot to walk off on and how to get your dog to stay and not move till you go back and praise it.
Recall
With recall you will learn the command to give your dog, which foot to step off on. You will learn how to call your dog to sit infront of you. Tell it to heel and sit and then praise and reward it.
