OUR INTERMEDIATE COURSE
Our intermediate course offers a bit more of a challenge. Here we do more advanced training as well as some agility. In the intermediate course you will learn: Sit ( Intermediate), Down (intermediate), Up (intermediate), Distance control, long distance recall, different recall techniques, send away training, Hide and seek, scent retreival, Agility.
Distance Control
Distance control is when you teach your dog to obey a command from a distance, they will learn to sit, down and stand while you command them from a few metres away.
Agility
We do a very basic agility where you teach your dog to jump. There are a few different techniques. Starting with the basic jump, then a recall jump, a send away jump, teaching your dog to jump on command.
Send-Away training
Send away training is to teach your dog to go retreive something and stay next to where they found the article. You will learn how to get your dog to retreive and lie down by an article or food.
Recall Techniques
Recall techniques takes the basic recall to the next level. You will learn to command your dog to sit, down or stand during a recall.
